Meet Your Therapist

Welcome! My name is Megan Hannum (they/she pronouns) though I go by Raine. As a queer, neurodivergent person, I am passionate about working with individuals who may also hold these identities. I am also passionate about supporting individuals who may be navigating the impacts of chronic illness or disabilities.

I hold an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) license in the state of Ohio and am able to provide telehealth services to residents throughout the state. I have worked in private practice for 4 years and launched Authentically Divergent Counseling to really focus on working with the populations that I am most passionate about.

I have completed training in both DBT and IFS therapy modalities but also emphasis meeting my clients wherever they are and tailor each individual’s treatment to their needs. In addition to specializing in working with LGBTQ+ issues and neurodivergence, I also have a passion for supporting individuals struggling with relationship challenges, parenting issues, burnout, anxiety, trauma, grief, and career exploration. I also work with couples and partnerships including experience in working with folks practicing non-monogamy.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I am a spouse and parent who also enjoys all things nerd culture. You can typically find me playing my comfort video games, spending time with friends playing Dungeons and Dragons, or reading my newest fantasy book.
